Quantum Universe as Milieu for Personal Growth During the last 100 years, a new vision of reality began to take place with the development of quantum theory as a basis for understanding the fundamental nature of reality. This vision, originating from quantum physicists/philosophers, describe the universe as a sea of energy fields where everything is connected to everything else and where consciousness is fundamentally involved. It is from this same theory that technological advances like lasers, with multitudes of applications to modern life, originated and thus lend credence or at least relevance to quantum theory to the non-specialist. The most advanced possible implication of quantum theory propounded by quantum philosophers is the presence or relationship of consciousness at the fundamental level of reality. At its extreme the quantum implication is consciousness creates reality. Personal growth in this perspective means learning to navigate oneself in a spiritual universe, thus bringing back the realm of the spirit to the modern world. Educating consciousness towards this perspective is then an important agenda for personal growth in a quantum universe.
